Serbian expert Jelena Milićević Proroković: "Young people at the National Centre RUSSIA are the energy of the future"
Jelena Milićević Proroković, Coordinator of the Union for National Development, Affirmation and Social Dialogue (UNRAD) from Serbia, said she was deeply impressed by the atmosphere at the National Centre RUSSIA, largely because of the number of young people working there. In her view, they bring a completely different level of energy, creativity and dynamism, all of which are essential for the future. She shared these thoughts during the Summer Expert Meetings of the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. A New Platform for Global Growth."
"I believe that a greater number of young people means a higher concentration of positive energy. When I arrived here, at the National Centre RUSSIA, I saw just how many young people work here. It creates a completely different level of energy compared with an institution where the majority of employees are older. Young people bring creativity, dynamism and energy, and that is extremely important for the future," said Jelena Milićević Proroković.
The Summer Expert Meetings of the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. A New Platform for Global Growth," featuring Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation, took place at the National Centre RUSSIA on 17 July. The discussions focused on an expert report prepared by the Centre for Cross-Industry Expertise "Third Rome", based on the intellectual work of participants in the Second Open Dialogue.
Jelena Milićević Proroković took part in a discussion devoted to one of the most pressing issues of our time: whether demographic policy should simply help economies adapt to population decline or whether its purpose should be to change the demographic trajectory itself.
The Summer Expert Meetings brought together people who are already thinking about what tomorrow's world will look like and are ready to propose practical steps to help shape it. The event was open to everyone who submitted an online application, prepared an essay and successfully passed the competitive selection process.
The full recording of the Summer Expert Meetings is available on the russia.ru website in the "Livestreams and Videos" section.
The main topic of the meeting was the future of the digital economy and the interaction between digital platforms and artificial intelligence.
Essays for the next series of expert meetings were accepted until 7 July.
