"Flagships of Education": a new season of the project was launched at the RUSSIA EXPO
The fourth
season of the "Flagships of Education" project of the presidential
platform "Russia - Land of Opportunity" was launched at the RUSSIA
EXPO. The project is dedicated to creating a talent pool in the Russian
education system.
"Flagships of Education" is a very significant project, which in many areas meets the demands of mentoring and corresponds to the Year of the Family. But the most important thing is that we see a great demand from our participants, we feel that it's very valuable and calls for great responsibility from us. I am sure that this year we will have even more active and enterprising participants, it will be an interesting and bright season," said Alexei Agafonov, First Deputy Director General of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Russia - Land of Opportunity".
He also emphasized that "Flagships of Education" is no longer just a competition, but a project for the professional development of education managers: teachers and students. A landmark event for the project was last year's decision of the competition's supervisory board that the winners of "Flagships of Education" are included in the federal teaching personnel reserve of the country.
Deputy Minister of Education of Russia Tatyana Vasilyeva is also sure that the project provides an opportunity for career start and growth: "During the existence of "Flagships of Education" it has evolved from school and teacher teams to a project that allows participants of the competition to find themselves in the management track, to become leaders in the field of education from school to government institutions, as well as regional, federal, public organizations and movements. There are already many examples of such positive career changes among the participants".
The presidential platform "Russia - Land of Opportunity" with the support of the Russian Government and the Ministry of Education of Russia creates conditions for the professional and career development of education managers, teachers and students from 2019. By the end of 2023, the "Flagships of Education" project has brought together more than 230,000 participants from all regions of the country.
The II Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. A New Platform for Global Growth" will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow from 27 to 29 April.
A ceremonial phaeton from the mid-19th century, decorated with gilded bronze and red velvet, took part more than once in the coronations of Russian emperors.
