Guests of the RUSSIA EXPO and the Funchoir express their love for the country and its cities

On Russia Day, visitors to VEB.RF Pavilion No. 59 "Cities for Life Come True" tested their knowledge of the history and significance of our country's symbols. Winners of the quiz received a custom souvenir - a t-shirt with the name of their hometown.
Guests at the VEB.RF Pavilion's creative workshop made a unique accessory based on the Russian tricolor. The highlight of the celebration was an open rehearsal of the legendary Funchoir, performing songs about Russia and its cities loved by millions of Russians. Songs like "I Walk Around Moscow", "Kostroma", "Yakut Girl", "This City" and "The Volga River Flows" were performed by the Exposition guests.
The open rehearsal of the Funchoir was bright and positive, leaving excellent impressions on all participants. The heartfelt and sincere declaration of love for the Motherland turned out to be touching and beautiful.
The Funchoir is an amateur choir for adults that has performed at Pulkovo Airport, the Russian National Library, Upsala Circus and "Podpisnie Izdaniya". There are no strict auditions or nerve-wracking tryouts, and participants don't need a background in music school or vocal experience.
"We welcome all who wish to join our ranks", the organizers emphasize.
