The appearance of clothes is constantly changing, we call it fashion. But it is only the appearance that changes, while the functional properties have remained the same for thousands of years. On June 9 in the pavilion of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia “Made by Us” visitors learned about the global change of trend in this direction. Kirill Orlov, a biophysicist, inventor and CEO of SportDots, revealed the amazing properties of clothing offered by his company.

In brief, the clothes are equipped with special elements that are made based on the principle of flat springs with a given degree of elasticity. When in contact with the body, they catch micro-vibrations and repel them. The invention, for example, is able to increase endurance, accelerate muscle recovery and increase muscle strength, improve many other abilities of the human body.

According to Orlov, the applicability of the new closet is much broader than sports. For example, if such clothing had been introduced before the COVID pandemic, it would have saved many lives - its use increases blood saturation in the lungs by up to 30%.

"The functionality of our clothing has a direct impact on such fundamental indicators of human life as length and quality. Yes, so far the greatest attention to our clothes has been shown by athletes - several Olympic teams of our country are already using them. But we are also working with healthcare representatives and the military,” said Kirill Orlov.

The innovation has no analogues in the world. According to the developer, the possibilities of application of the method are the most extensive. For example, a huge number of elderly people suffer from arthrosis of leg joints, and walking, say, in pants with innovative technology would reduce such problems by at least 20%. A special line has already been created for hairdressers who experience increased physical stress on certain parts of the body. Even absolutely healthy people will benefit from such a suit - we will simply get less tired.
