Grushinsky Festival will be presented at the RUSSIA EXPO
28.04.2024
On April 30, the Main Street Stage of the RUSSIA EXPO will present one of the hallmarks of the Samara region - the All-Russian Festival of Author's Songs named after Valery Grushin. It is annually visited by tens of thousands of people from all over Russia and from countries near and far abroad.
The All-Russian festival of author's song is named after Valery Grushin, a student of the Aviation Institute, a lover of hiking and author's song. He dreamed of creating a song tourist festival in the open air. The wish was realized only after Grushin's death by his friends.
The Grushinsky Festival has been traditionally held in the Samara region since 1968 in the format of a camping trip and lasts four days. Tents, songs around the campfire and a floating stage in the shape of a guitar are mandatory attributes of the event. Creative meetings, masterclasses, fairs and much more are organized for participants and guests.
Less known is the winter Grushinsky - a festival of author's song, which is held in February at closed concert venues.
Grushinsky Festival discovered many names of original, talented authors for the audience. Among the winners of the Grushinsky Festival of different years are such famous bards as A. Dolsky, V. Lantsberg, A. Sukhanov, L. Sergeyev.
Such well-known performers as Alexander Gorodnitsky, Viktor Berkovsky, Boris Vakhnyuk, Sergey Nikitin, Yuri Vizbor, Oleg Mityaev, can call the festival "their own".
Presentation of the winter Grushinsky Festival was held with great success in February 2024 at the stand of the Samara region. At that time, the duet "Budarina and Sadovskaya", bard, laureate of the Grushinsky Festival Yuri Karpov, laureates, guests of honor and jury members of the Grushinsky Festival Irina and Andrey Kolesnikovs, laureate of international and All-Russian festivals of author's song, multiple laureate and permanent member of the main jury of the Grushinsky Festival Alexander Isaev performed before the guests of the stand.
