"Grapes are a plant that needs a certain soil, natural and climatic conditions, which in Crimea are great. We have 20 climatic zones in Crimea. I sometimes ask, what is the lowest temperature in the Crimea? It was minus 37 degrees in 2012 in Nizhnegorsk district. At that moment it was minus 10 in another district," said Valery Zakharyin.

"According to the general opinion of scientists, the Sevastopol zone is characterized by a combination of unique characteristics that allow to aspire and expect to produce great wine. Moreover, when Golitsyn started producing his famous champagne, which won the highest award at the Paris World Fair, he brought material from Sevastopol," Alexei Lipko is convinced.
