History of May Day and professions of the future: the Spring and Labor Holiday was celebrated in the VEB.RF pavilion

On May 1, visitors to Pavilion No. 59 of VEB.RF "Cities for Life Come True" took part in a real spring festival. Entertainment shows, quizzes with memorable prizes, games and masterclasses were organized for everyone. The events were dedicated to the history of May Day, its symbols, as well as professions of the past and future.
The guests of the pavilion tested their imagination in the show "Intuition" and tried to guess what professions may appear in the near future. Thanks to the development of technology, the world is changing at a rapid pace: some professions that previously seemed unthinkable - such as bioethicist, eco-preacher, digital waste recycler - are already spreading. Perhaps very soon it will be possible to learn how to logistically transport resources to alternative timelines, or to create and modify genetic codes using gestures and movements.
Visitors to the pavilion also learned about the history of the holiday in a game format thanks to the interactive quiz "Peace, Labor, May!". For example, did you know that one of the main rules that was put forward in the struggle for workers' rights was "Eight hours for labor. Eight hours for rest. Eight hours for sleep"? That is why most countries in the world have now adopted the eight-hour work day.
The integral attributes of May Day have always been red flags, balloons, banners and, of course, a lot of sunshine. At the masterclass on graphics "Sunrise!" everyone could create a city graphic composition using only the symbol of the sun - a circle. In addition, the guests of the Exposition took part in the masterclass on the architecture of the future "Allhome" and designed models of houses where all people could live comfortably.
One of the main professions of the future is robotics. The youngest guests of the pavilion were already able to immerse themselves in this universe at the masterclass "The World of Robots: Simply About Complex" by ROBBO. They learned how robots are built, got acquainted with the class of mobile robots, learned to write their first programs in the RobboScratch visual language, and taught the robot basic traffic rules.
