Kabardino-Balkaria inspires RUSSIA EXPO guests to adventure
Majestic
mountains and deep lakes, powerful waterfalls and picturesque alpine meadows.
Kabardino-Balkaria is a small but amazing region that attracts more and more
tourists every year. At the stand of Kabardino-Balkaria, you can learn about
the highest ski resort in Russia and Europe, take a photo against the
background of Elbrus in bloom and appreciate the achievements of the republic.
The exposition
tells about all the things the region is famous for. It is called the Garden of
Russia for a reason: pears, plums and cherries, as well as peaches, nectarines,
figs, raspberries and blueberries are grown here. And of course, apples, which
can be seen in huge quantities at the stand.
The exposition also presents scientific achievements of the republic. Innovative materials and devices. For example, few people know that local scientists have invented a plastic that can replace metal: super constructive polymers are twice as light as titanium, do not conduct heat and do not change temperature under the influence of sunlight or frost.
And of course, Kabardino-Balkaria is a real paradise for tourists. You should come here to see the famous Chegem Gorge, waterfalls and the Balkar village of Eltubu, where the mountain saklya hut and the medieval "city of the dead" are located. And fans of active recreation will surely be attracted by the opportunity to go skiing at Elbrus, the highest ski resort in Russia and Europe.
The National Centre RUSSIA is continuing its series of off-site excursions to educational and rehabilitation centres in Moscow.
On March 1, the Department Store will reopen to visitors after reconstruction at the National Centre.
The large-scale "Journey Across Russia" project will launch at the National Centre RUSSIA on March 1.
