Key results and achievements of human resources policy for the modern labor market
The RUSSIA EXPO is hosting the National Achievements Forum: Human Resources Policy for the Modern Labor Market. The business program of the thematic day was kicked off by the plenary session "Key Results and Achievements of HR Policy for the Modern Labor Market", moderated by Anton Kotyakov, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation.
He spoke about labor market trends in the new economic conditions, the key results of HR policy in the country and new opportunities it opens for employers, employees and those who are just starting their career path.
"Such strategic tasks as import substitution and ensuring the technological sovereignty of our country depend on the quality of employment and availability of qualified specialists. By the decision of the President, the reboot of the state system of employment promotion was included in the national projects, and from 2021 employment promotion is part of one of the most important of them - the Demography national project", - said Anton Kotyakov.
The minimum unemployment rate in the country indicates that Russia has a job seeker's labor market. "At the end of 2023, the unemployment rate was only 3.2% - this is a historical minimum, even though against the background of growing sanctions pressure most pessimistic forecasts and assessments of the current situation sounded in the country," said the Minister of Labor.
Along with the decrease of the unemployment rate, the level of wages in the country is growing, said Anton Kotyakov. He also emphasized that an important aspect of the successful implementation of the HR policy is free retraining of the population: "In 2023, more than 1.7 million people applied to the portal "Work of Russia" for career guidance. Starting this year, working citizens will also be able to study in more than 150 professions most in demand in the economy.
The plenary session was attended by Andrei Isaev, Deputy Head of the United Russia faction in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Kiselev, Deputy of the State Duma, Chairman of the Board of the "Russian Student Squads", Alexander Shokhin, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Dmitry Mikhalenko, Vice President for Personnel and Social Policy of AVTOVAZ, Mikhail Shmakov, Chairman of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia, Artem Zdunov, Head of the Republic of Mordovia.
The plenary session ended with an unusual fashion show: to the accompaniment of drums, the participants of the plenary session were presented a display of personal protective equipment. The spectacular show combined models from 5 leading domestic manufacturers of special clothing and other PPE.
