How did the once "depressed" region become a territory of rapid growth and reach the leading positions in the country by a number of indicators? The Kurgan region talked about its successes at the RUSSIA EXPO.

According to the September results, the region took the first place among the Urals and Siberian regions in the dynamics of industrial production. And the unemployment rate decreased by more than 5.8 times and amounted to 0.5%.

"From the symbol of depression to the territory of rapid growth. Key indicators in the agro-industrial complex have grown by 150-300%, and in 2022 the Kurgan region in general took the first place in the country in terms of agricultural production growth", - said Governor Vadim Shumkov.
