Kysh Babai from Tatarstan came to VDNH
The winter
wizard Kysh Babai from Tatar folklore met with the guests of the RUSSIA EXPO.
His visit was timed to coincide with the Days of Ded Morozes held from November
18 to December 24.
The main
New Year hero from Tatarstan congratulated the children on the upcoming holiday
and presented gifts to the most active kids.
Kysh Babai appeared on the stage of the RUSSIA EXPO after the children called him loudly and in unison. He told the guests about the secrets that would help fulfill all their cherished wishes. Thus, in Tatarstan there are "whispering oaks", next to which you need to quietly voice your dreams. "My dear children and adults, you can write me a letter or whisper your wishes in a bag on my hand, then they will definitely come true", - said Kysh Babai.
Together
with the Tatar Ded Moroz, the guests of the Exposition were congratulated by
the folklore dance ensemble Ak Tirma (White Yurt). Also everyone was able to tell Kysh Babai
poems and receive gifts and instructions.
"Dear
friends, I want to congratulate everyone on the beginning of winter and the
coming New Year. I wish you good, prosperity. May our faith in fairy tale,
friendship and love win and everything will be good in our lives. Happy
upcoming holidays to everyone!" - Kysh Babai congratulated all those
present.
Kysh Babai
wears clothes emphasizing the national features of the people of Tatarstan. His
coat and costume are decorated with national ornaments, Kysh Babai's hat is a
fur-trimmed tyubeteika, and the predominant color of his outfit is green.
The events with Ded Morozes started on November 18 with a birthday celebration of the most famous of them living in Velikiy Ustyug. It was followed by honoring the hero of Udmurt fairy tales, Tol Babai, the character of Yamalo-Nenets tales, Yamal Iri, and the Mordovian Grandfather Frost Yakshamo Atya. This weekend, the exposition will also be honored by the presence of Wes-Dade from Kabardino-Balkaria and Artkhuron from North Ossetia.
The performance took place as part of the international Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth."
One of the tracks of the Open Dialogue is "Investments in Human Capital." The pitch session on this topic brought together over 30 speakers.
One of the key topics for discussion within the initiative became "Investments in Connectivity," which attracted 24% of the essay authors about the future of the world.
