Compliments Machine and spring beat: VEB.RF will congratulate female visitors to the RUSSIA EXPO on March 8
07.03.2024
On International Women's Day, visitors to VEB.RF's pavilion "Cities for Life Come True" (No. 59) will receive unique compliments, recharge their spring mood and get acquainted with female leaders in science.
A unique Compliments Machine will be working for female visitors to the pavilion throughout the day: each guest will receive a personalized message from the artificial intelligence, inspired by the cities and natural beauties of Russia.
There will also be a musical gift for beautiful women - a spring show-concert of a famous beatmaker, winner of Russian and international competitions Ivan Moskvin (Moskvin). In real time the musician will create music based on spring images of Russian cities. The set will include fragments of tracks from the project "Listen to the Cities" - a unique music of Russian cities, created on the basis of the VEB.RF quality of life index with the help of Skoltech technologies.
Visitors to the exposition will also be able to take part in a discussion on the role of women in the development of national science. The speakers of the event will be Olga Mekhedova, head of the Cyclotron Radiochemistry Unit of the Blokhin Oncology Research Center; Irina Belykh, founder of the Festival of Actual Scientific Cinema FANK and curator of the initiative "Science as Art" of the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia; Tatiana Bolgina, junior researcher at the Center for Language and Brain of the National Research University "Higher School of Economics"; as well as Vera Pavlova, Ph.D. in chemistry, deputy director general for science and scientific and educational activities of the Polytechnic Museum. Successful women scientists will discuss how to build a successful career in science and science-intensive professions while maintaining a balance between work and family.
The VEB.RF pavilion invites families to visit: every member of the family will find something to do. A workshop on decoupage of tea houses will be held for the youngest visitors to the pavilion.
