The events were held at the stand of the Arkhangelsk region.

Employees of the "Radushenka" Folk Art Center and the Konosha District Museum of Local Lore taught handicrafts to the guests of the RUSSIA EXPO and spoke about the natural riches of the Pomorie region.

The craftswomen from "Radushenka" held workshops where the participants learned how to weave bookmarks from birch bark and also got to know about the process of extraction and processing of this natural material. Also, Konosha women organized practical classes on making twisted cord for Moscow citizens and guests of the capital.

Employees of the local history museum presented an interactive lecture "Geology for Non-Geologists" about the diverse world of mineral resources of the Arkhangelsk region.

We would like to add that the series of interesting lectures about Pomorie and fascinating masterclasses by northern craftsmen will be continued - any visitor can join them.

It should be reminded that the International RUSSIA EXPO, which opened in early November at VDNH, unites the main achievements of the country. All 89 regions, including the Arkhangelsk region, take part in it. The exposition was appreciated by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

The grand exposition project will be open until April 12. The working hours are Tuesday through Sunday, Monday is a technical day. Visiting is free of charge.
