A week left to submit projects for participation in the film award "Heroes of the Great Country" at the National Centre RUSSIA

Less than a week remains before the deadline for submitting applications to participate in the third national film award "Heroes of the Great Country". The event will take place on 25 September at the National Centre RUSSIA.

The film award is designed to contribute to the revival of the culture and competences of producing film projects for a wide audience. The spotlight will be on films and series that form the spiritual and moral code of the modern hero based on national traditions and that also possess high commercial potential.

A distinctive feature of the award is not only the evaluation of the content and quality of film production, but also the study of its impact on different audiences. Thanks to this, the forum "Heroes of the Great Country" becomes a platform for exchanging experience and knowledge in the field of film creation and promotion in dialogue with experts, representatives of online platforms, TV channels, and cinema chains.

Today the film industry is going through a turning point: values, the information field, and viewer behaviour models are changing. Under these conditions, the award seeks to unite creativity, science and the film business to give a strong impetus to the development of national cinema.

The winners of last year’s award were the films "White Snow", "The Challenge", "Sky", "11 Silent Men", "Private Cheerin", "I Take a Step", "The Naughty One", "Africa", "Lyubushka" from the cycle "About People and About War", "Chuk and Gek. The Big Adventure", "Off the Rails"; the series "Big Change", as well as the animation project "The Fixies" and other works.
