Today, January 9, is a technical day at the RUSSIA EXPO. Therefore, the pavilions and expositions are temporarily unavailable to the public. But already on January 10, the exposition returns to work in the usual schedule. A lot of activities, including masterclasses, have been prepared for guests. We will tell you how to spend time in an interesting and useful way.

Angel masterclass

At the masterclass participants will make a three-dimensional toy out of fabric. A truly Russian Orthodox tradition of the Tula land. On the Orthodox holiday of Christmas people used to make angels and give them to loved ones with wishes of happiness and goodness. The handicrafts were called Christmas angel.

Family workshops

Joint creativity inspires and unites. Create together with your relatives and friends and enjoy communication in a cozy atmosphere.

Creating badges with symbols of Moscow

The guests will get acquainted with the basics of wood painting and will paint a badge with the image of one of the symbols of Moscow. The badge will become a wonderful souvenir or a New Year’s gift.

Painting of birch bark dishes

Painting on birch bark dishes with acrylic paints. Participants of the workshop will be able to depict temples of the Tula region and nature of the Tula region on birch bark.

Beadwork

The history of such kind of handicraft as beadwork was known in the Tula region since the end of the XIX century: in Chern and Bogoroditsky districts. The existence of this craft in the region is evidenced by beaded items called khrestovka and gaitans, which are in museums of the Tula region. Participants of the workshop will be able to make marvelous beadwork on their own.
