First engagement of the RUSSIA EXPO took place at the exposition of Chuvashia

The exposition of Chuvashia continues to be a place of wish fulfillment.

On January 4, a happy event took place at our stand: a young man proposed to his girlfriend. The couple met in Chuvashia, they worked together in the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the region. The place for the proposal was not chosen by chance, as the couple worked in the department that took part in the organization of Chuvashia's exposition at the RUSSIA EXPO.

The groom's name is Arkady, he is 25 years old. He himself is from Moscow. He studied in one of the universities in Chuvashia, after which he worked in the state administration. The bride's name is Irina, she is 23 years old. She was born and grew up in Cheboksary. The young people met at the workplace, in the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Chuvash Republic, where Irina joined on February 15, 2023. Their relationship with Arkady began on April 4.

"The idea to make a proposal at the stand of the Chuvash Republic appeared quite a long time ago, I didn't know how to realize it properly. Why exactly at the stand? Because Chuvashia has become my native region. First, I got an education in one of the universities of the republic, and then I worked in the administration. In addition, while working in the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Chuvash Republic, our department took part in the organization of the region's exposition in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development of Chuvashia. And I just wanted to see how our region is represented at such a large exposition," Arkady said.

The groom's parents, Elena and Arnold, and his sisters Milana and Sabina came to the RUSSIA EXPO as a support group. Also friends of the couple came to support the couple in the awe-inspiring moment.

Arkady said that he is fond of military-tactical games. Irina's favorite activities are reading, sewing and cooking. She also shared that she was very shy to get acquainted with the parents of the young man, but eventually managed to cope with excitement and fear.

Now the couple lives in St. Petersburg. The young people moved there due to their work. Arkady is a civil servant in the Committee for Industrial Policy, Innovation and Trade of St. Petersburg, and Irina - in a subordinate institution. The couple plans to get married next summer.
