All-Russian Day of Mordovian Languages will be held at VDNH

On April 18, the All-Russian Day of Mordovian Languages will be held at the International RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH. A rich program awaits the guests of the exposition: a solemn part, a business program, masterclasses, a literature exposition, and a concert.
The solemn event dedicated to the holiday will take place at 18:00 in the Cultural Projects Zone and at the stand of Mordovia in Pavilion No. 75.
The business program "Mordovian Languages in the Information Space" will be attended by Artem Zdunov, Head of the Republic of Mordovia, Petr Tultayev, Senator of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Vladyka Zinoviy, Metropolitan of Saransk and Mordovia, Rifat Sabitov, Deputy Director General and Head of the Regional Department of VGTRK, and Yuri Mishanin, Chairman of the Interregional Public Organization of the Mordovian (Mokshan and Erzyan) People.
Besides, the guests of the event will be able to attend masterclasses on studying Erzyan and Mokshan languages, exposition of educational and methodical and artistic literature in Mordovian languages, concert program with participation of leading national folklore groups of the Republic of Mordovia.
It should be noted that the All-Russian Day of Mordovian Languages is celebrated annually on April 16, the birthday of the first Mordovian professor Anatoly Ryabov.
