The First Rally of School Rescue Squads of the Russian Student Rescue Corps opened at the Exposition
The Russian
Student Rescue Corps is one of the largest student volunteer organizations in
the Russian Federation. It was founded on April 22, 2001 on the initiative of
Sergei Shoigu, Minister of Emergency Situations of Russia at that time. The
opening ceremony of the First Rally of School Rescue Squads of the RSRC at the
Exposition was held on April 25.
"I am
pleased to welcome you to the RUSSIA EXPO, where for the next two days we will
discuss important aspects of the development of school rescue squads. This
joint work will be a landmark moment in shaping the future for rescue work in
the capital," Evgeny Kozeyev, member of the Civic Chamber of the Russian
Federation, head of the Russian Student Rescue Corps, addressed the
participants of the Rally in his welcoming speech.
He noted
that the participants of the Rally have a difficult but important task - to
build a dialog of generations, which will be the starting point for the
development of school rescue squads across Russia.
"Your
ideas, enthusiasm and commitment to safety are the key elements that I am sure
will make this Rally productive and inspiring," added Evgeny Kozeyev.
During two
days, the participants of the First Rally of School Rescue Squads at the RUSSIA
EXPO are expected to attend masterclasses, competitions and discussions devoted
to rescue and development of safety culture among schoolchildren. The main
speakers and presenters of the program will be representatives of the Russian
Student Rescue Corps, the Committee of Public Relations, Youth Policy of
Moscow, the Russian public and state movement "Movement of the
First".
"Let
this Rally become not only a place of learning, but also a place of inspiration
and new acquaintances. Let us together create a future in which every school
rescue squad will serve as an example in ensuring the safety of our families
and society. May these days be filled with new knowledge, bright impressions
and friendships. We wish you, dear participants, fruitful work, and let your
contribution to the development of rescue work inspire you on your life's
journey!" emphasized Evgeny Kozeyev.
The opening
ceremony of the Rally ended with the hoisting of the flag of the Russian
Federation and the singing of the Russian anthem.
