The National Centre RUSSIA and Rossotrudnichestvo agree on developing partnership relations in Tashkent
Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA, Natalia
Virtuozova, held a meeting with Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo (the Federal
Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad,
and International Humanitarian Cooperation) Representative Office in the
Republic of Uzbekistan, Irina Staroselskaya. The visiting delegation toured the
stand of the National Centre RUSSIA at the International Industrial Trade Fair
"INNOPROM. Central Asia", where they were introduced to the National Centre’s
flagship project — the Department Store RUSSIA.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for
developing partnership relations and possible formats for implementing joint
projects between the National Centre RUSSIA and the Rossotrudnichestvo
Representative Office, as well as areas for further cooperation.
Irina Staroselskaya spoke about the current activities of
the Representative Office, including its educational, cultural and youth
initiatives, and highlighted its active engagement with young audiences.
According to her, this is of particular significance in the year marking the
25th anniversary of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in the
Republic of Uzbekistan.
In conclusion, Natalia Virtuozova and Irina Staroselskaya
noted their mutual interest in strengthening partnership relations, and
emphasised the importance of combining the efforts of the National Centre
RUSSIA and the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office to implement joint
projects.
As part of the "INNOPROM. Central Asia" trade fair
in Tashkent, the National Centre RUSSIA presented its flagship project — the
Department Store RUSSIA — abroad for the first time. The Department Store
brought together goods from more than 50 producers representing 39 regions of the
country. The stand’s merchant-style design reflects the cultural affinity
between Russia and Uzbekistan, as well as their centuries-old traditions of
openness and mutual respect. Visitors can explore the stand and take part in
the events programme until 22 April.
The stand of the National Centre RUSSIA at the trade fair "INNOPROM. Central Asia" in Tashkent has become one of the most visited spaces.
Among the dozens of brands presented, guests have already singled out five particularly striking, unusual, and inspiring product lines.
The demonstration of making items from rovduga was part of the programme offered by the Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA.
