Not just diamonds: how Yakutia will surprise at the RUSSIA EXPO
The International RUSSIA EXPO is a unique opportunity to learn about the main achievements of the country and get acquainted with the potential of the regions. Therefore, each subject of the Russian Federation should present itself in all its glory. For many participants, this is a rare opportunity to talk about achievements with which the region is not usually associated.
For example, Yakutia can boast not only of diamond mining and export, its residents actively vote on the "Achievements.RF" portal for other achievements as well. One of the leaders of the people's choice is the Yakutian technopark. Its residents have developed an effective system for counteracting forest fires, methods of analyzing medical images using artificial intelligence technologies, and the "Extra Cinema" projector, which will become an inexpensive alternative to imported systems.
By the way, the latter achievement is especially important in the context of the success of Yakutian cinematography, which was also noted by the residents along with the Children of Asia sports games. Moreover, one of the leaders of the voting now is the famous athlete Dmitry Korkin, a freestyle wrestling legend from Yakutia. Being an honored coach, he has raised many outstanding athletes, Olympic medalists and champions. Since 2008 the city of Yakutsk of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) has been holding an international tournament in memory of the great coach.
As a reminder, the International RUSSIA EXPO will be held at the VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to April 12. The uniqueness of the event is that all regions of our country, as well as authorities and public organizations, Russian corporations and foreign partners will be able to present their achievements and projects.
