"Incredible show": audience shared impressions of the concert "Symphony of Life"
The stage
of the National Centre RUSSIA hosted a concert featuring saxophonist Veronika
Kozhukharova, a star of the new generation of Russian virtuoso
instrumentalists, and Japanese organist Hiroko Inoue, a soloist of the
Kaliningrad Regional Philharmonic and laureate of international competitions.
The
audience appreciated the unusual combination of two musical instruments: the
saxophone and the organ. All musical pieces were accompanied by choreographic
performances by Alla Dukhova's ballet Todes, with the multimedia component of
the show becoming the main surprise. Light and video effects created vivid and
dynamic digital imagery for each composition, immersing the audience in
profound reflections on timeless themes such as relationships between men and
women, the inner struggle of a person for their place in the world, and more.
"The
organ and saxophone worked together beautifully, but what impressed me the most
was how well the video content was chosen. It complemented the music
perfectly—truly touching. Honestly, some performances moved me to tears. Thank
you for this incredible experience, this amazing show," shared Alexandra
Platunova, an audience member.
Many guests
attended the concert with their children. Thanks to the multimedia effects,
even the youngest viewers stayed engaged, closely following everything
happening on stage.
"It
was so beautiful; I really liked the concert! What I loved most were the dances
and the pictures they showed on the screen—they were so unusual!" said
seven-year-old Katya.
Many
attendees shared that this concert was their first time hearing the sound of an
organ. Hiroko Inoue brought a unique instrument to the National Centre RUSSIA,
crafted specifically for her by a Russian master.
"I'm
in awe of Veronika — she's an amazing saxophonist, but I always knew that.
Hiroko, however, was a true revelation. I can't imagine how it's possible to
play such pieces on the organ. Especially 'The March of the Builders of
Communism' — simply incredible!" said Yevgeniya Samsonova.
