Five branches of the National Centre RUSSIA will open in the regions of the country this year
By order of
the President, branches of the National Centre RUSSIA will open in five Russian
regions by the end of 2025. The regions were selected based on the project
defense, in which 15 regions participated.
Thus,
branches of the National Centre RUSSIA will appear in the Khanty-Mansi
Autonomous Area – Yugra, the Ryazan region, Sevastopol, Primorye, and the
Krasnoyarsk region.
They will
introduce residents and visitors of the regions to the legacy of the
International RUSSIA EXPO and the achievements of our country. The branches
will host extensive business, cultural, and public programs.
"The
branches of the National Centre preserve the legacy of the RUSSIA EXPO. One of
our important tasks is to share knowledge and experience with the regions so
they can create local hubs that will surprise and inspire people," noted
Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA.
All regional venues will become exposition spaces and places for cultural events, educational programs, workshops, and creative meetings. The branches will feature expositions dedicated to the implementation of national projects and the contribution of local residents to the development of the country. The branches will also include zones for business and event programs, department stores with unique regional and Russian brands, children's areas, lecture halls, and areas showcasing local and regional cuisines.
The opening
of the National Centre RUSSIA branch in Khanty-Mansiysk will be timed to
coincide with the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Khanty-Mansi
Autonomous Area – Yugra. It will be located in a separate building with all the
necessary infrastructure on the banks of the Irtysh River.
In Ryazan, the National Centre RUSSIA branch will open at the Ryazan VDNH. This venue will be able to convey the ideology and legacy of the International RUSSIA EXPO. Today, the Ryazan VDNH is the only preserved and restored complex of the regional exposition from the Soviet period, out of the 11 complexes once built.
The branch
in Vladivostok will be launched in the building of the Vladivostok Oceanarium
on the Sports Embankment along the Amur Bay. This is a landmark location for the
residents and visitors of the city. One of the highlights of the future branch
will be the legacy of the Vladivostok Oceanarium — an oval-shaped aquarium with
sturgeons. The regional exposition will reflect unique local landmarks and
displays featuring the future vision of the Primorye region.
In
Sevastopol, the branch will open in the building of the operating Russia
cinema. This popular venue for cultural events attracts a large number of
visitors. Much of the focus will be on domestic tourism, the achievements of
the hero city, its role in the economy, culture, traditions, and the heroic
past of Russia. Visitors will be able to dive into the history of Sevastopol —
from ancient Chersonese to the "Russian Spring" — and learn about the
most significant events and projects in Sevastopol, with a vision for 2035.
The branch
of the National Centre RUSSIA in Krasnoyarsk will be located on the Central
Embankment at the Yenisei Gallery. According to the concept, the branch will
become a year-round family leisure center with an achievements gallery. The key
idea of the branch and its exposition will be the "return home" of
the Yenisei, who will serve as a personal guide to all the displays. As both an
AI assistant and personal guide, it will help navigate the space and provide
information about the region.
One of the
main features will be the "Voice of the Yenisei" — a water
installation that transmits words and images: a matrix fountain with an AI
system allowing visitors to "communicate" with the Yenisei through
symbols and words.
The
National Centre RUSSIA will provide support and methodological assistance to
all branches, both at the opening stage and during the launch of new federal
and regional expositions and projects. In accordance with the Presidential Decree,
the network of branches of the National Centre RUSSIA will expand in the
future.
On January 29, at the National Centre RUSSIA, as part of the international children's creative project "Territory of Success: Fashion," a scientific and practical conference titled "Dialogues of Times: Diaghilev's Legacy and New Opportunities" took place.
Experts and
economists will develop unified approaches to ensure the growth of the global
economy.
The subject
of the painting refers viewers to the unique monument of Old Russian
literature, "The Tale of Igor’s Campaign."
