The solemn ceremony summarizing the results and awarding the winners of the first All-Russian competition "Capital of Financial Culture" will take place on March 12. The event will be attended by the Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation, Anton Siluanov, and the Chair of the Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina.

The competition final will feature 12 regions of Russia that have demonstrated the highest achievements in developing financial education infrastructure. These constituent entities of the Russian Federation presented the best practices and projects aimed at improving financial literacy among the population.

The "Capital of Financial Culture" competition is organized as part of the Strategy for Enhancing Financial Literacy and Developing Financial Culture until 2030. Its goal is to identify and support regions actively implementing effective programs in financial education and contributing to the formation of responsible financial behavior among citizens.

By decision of the Government of the Russian Federation, the competition will be held annually.
