Visitors to the RUSSIA EXPO will be offered to taste Pomor soup

On Sunday, April 7, the House of Russian Cuisine at the RUSSIA EXPO will host a masterclass and tasting from the "Malye Karely" northern cuisine restaurant as part of the Soup Day festival.
Chef Roman Zaozersky will prepare Pomor soup - a strong creamy broth with halibut. In the process of creating his recipe he was inspired by sushye - a traditional strong broth that Pomors cooked with dried fish. The modern version of the soup will be made with marinated fucus from the Arkhangelsk Algae Plant.
In addition, all participants will be told about the restaurant "Malye Karely", presented the "Pomor Food" gastronomic festival, which will be held in Arkhangelsk as part of the festival of new culture "White June", as well as explained how brown seaweed - a unique product of the White Sea - is extracted.
The masterclass and tasting will be held on April 7 at 14:30 in the pavilion "House of Russian Cuisine" at VDNH.
