Exceeded all expectations: guest reviews of the architectural exposition "The Birth of Scale"
The
architectural exposition "The Birth of Scale," dedicated to the
development of urban planning in our country as well as major architectural
projects from the past and present, continues at the National Centre RUSSIA.
Many guests have already visited the exposition and shared their impressions.
"I've
been to the National Centre for the second time. First, I visited the
contemporary art exposition, and now I decided to visit the architectural
exposition. It exceeded all my expectations. The exposition is stunning! So
many valuable objects, maps, models, and artifacts! I hope the exposition will
be open for a long time so that everyone interested in urban planning and
architecture can appreciate it," shared Yelena.
A guest of
the National Centre also noted the work of tour guide Maria Repina, thanking
her for a clear and well-structured tour, rich in interesting details and
information. Other visitors have also expressed their gratitude to the tour
guides.
"The
exposition is beautiful and lives up to its name, but it was our tour guide
Ivan who truly gave it scale. We were lucky to be his listeners! This was the
best tour I’ve had in the last few years. I sincerely thank the organizers,
performers, and everyone involved," wrote Diana.
The
exposition and tour guides were highly praised by participants in the
"Moscow Longevity" project.
"We
want to express our gratitude to Olga Mochalova, the tour guide for the
architectural exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA. The guide structured
the story wonderfully, showing the key stages of the development of
architecture in Russia, from the Russian model to the most modern projects in
Saint Petersburg," wrote one of the participants.
Many
visitors noted that "The Birth of Scale" exposition can spark an
interest in architecture even among those who were initially distant from this
field.
"I
never would have thought that building structures could be such an exciting
process. I was especially inspired by the unrealized projects: the Palace of
Soviets, Arctic stations. They show just how boldly and freely a person can
create," shared Oleg Lisitsyn.
"The
Birth of Scale" exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA showcases both
realized architectural projects and ideas that remained as concepts. It
features unique models of buildings, blueprints, and prototypes that have been
preserved in museums and private collections. The exposition is open to all
visitors free of charge.
Partners of
"The Birth of Scale" exposition include DOM.RF, the Ministry of
Construction of Russia, Gazprom, the A.V. Shchusev State Museum of

Chernikhov Architectural Charity Fund, and the School of Design at the National
