Yevgeny Blinov and Roman Sorokin, artists of the Moscow Theater of Poets, presented a musical and poetic concert "Russian Beacons" to the guests of the Exposition.

"Our program "Russian Beacons" is named after the text of the same name by Vlad Malenko, which has now found a new life thanks to the song performed together with Grigory Leps and Yulia Chicherina. The people loved these lyrics. Today "Russian Beacons" are people who are on the southern borders of our Motherland, defending our country and its interests. They are, first of all, military men. Our program is mostly dedicated to them. All the texts performed today are written by the authors of the Vlad Malenko's Moscow Theater of Poets," noted poet, artist, playwright Roman Sorokin.

The guests of the Exposition heard author's poems and songs dedicated to Russia, its history and modern realities performed by the theater artists. A distinctive feature of the concert was a direct dialog between the audience and the artists.

Vlad Malenko's Moscow Theater of Poets is a creative association, which is a structural subdivision of the Department of Culture of the city of Moscow under the leadership of honored arts worker of Russia poet Vlad Malenko. The team of the theater includes contemporary artists, musicians, poets and performers and organizes the Filatov Fest, the country's largest all-Russian open festival of young poetry named after Leonid Filatov. Many artists of the theater have long worked in the genre of civic lyrics and actively demonstrate their position, performing not only in Moscow, but also in the territories liberated during the special military operation. The experience gained during the years of such performances is a source of inspiration for poets and artists.
