An expert session as part of the Open Dialogue "The
Future of the World. A New Platform for Global Growth" has begun at the
National Centre RUSSIA branch in the Primorye Territory. The discussion is
titled "Asia-Pacific: A Testing Ground for Technology".
The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of Russia, Maxim
Oreshkin, and international experts are discussing the transition from pilot AI
projects to the widespread adoption of technologies, regulation, the
development of embodied AI and autonomous systems, technological sovereignty,
and the role of humans in the new digital environment. Watch the livestream on

The discussion also features Shaoshan Liu (China), Director of the Embodied
Artificial Intelligence Center at the Shenzhen Institute of Artificial
Intelligence and Robotics for Society (AIRS); Sam Majid (Malaysia), First Head
of Malaysia's National Artificial Intelligence Office (NAIO, 2024–2026); and
Ankush Sabharwal (India), Founder and CEO of CoRover.ai and Head of BharatGPT.
The international expert project Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. A
New Platform for Global Growth" is implemented by the National Centre
RUSSIA in partnership with the Centre for Cross-Industry Expertise "The
Third Rome". The expert session was held in Vladivostok for the second
time, continuing the international discussion on the future of the global
economy and new models of global development. Since its launch, the project has
brought together more than 3,000 essay authors and experts from over 120
countries, who have presented their ideas, projects and proposals.
Participants tried to imagine where humans might live in the decades to come and which distant planets they might be able to reach.
On 3 September, the National Centre RUSSIA hosted a press conference marking the launch of the second season of its original project, the "Young Journalists School".
The National Centre RUSSIA and its branches are becoming an important part of regional development, bringing together cultural, public and educational projects.
