Hundreds of RUSSIA EXPO guests participated in a mass dance flash mob
A mass dance flash mob
at the RUSSIA EXPO was performed by artists, volunteers and guests of the
Exposition to a modern rendition of the song "Beautiful Far Away". In
addition, visitors marched around Pavilion No. 75 in a round dance to the "March
of the Aviators" arranged by the Russian Movement of Children and Youth
"Movement of the First".
The participants not
only danced to their favorite melody, but also sang together. The most active
participants of the flash mob received gifts - souvenirs with the Exposition
logo.
The series of dance
flash mobs at the Exposition opened with the "Charge to the Future"
event, which took place on April 12, Cosmonautics Day, to the work of Soviet
composer Georgy Sviridov "Time Forward" in a modern arrangement.
"We have dance
flash mobs every Saturday in Pavilion No. 75 at 17:00. We welcome all comers,
all guests, all stand attendants to them, it's very interesting!"
Anastasia Zvyagina, Deputy Director General of the RUSSIA EXPO, who also took
part in the flash mob, invited everyone.
The song
"Beautiful Far Away" by composer Yevgeny Krylatov to lyrics by poet
Yuri Entin was first heard in the movie "Guest from the Future" in
1985. It expresses the theme of the youth flash mob festival "Forward to
the Future" - the dream of a beautiful future.
In their turn, under
the modern arrangement of "March of the Aviators" the flash mob
participants launched "Rocket to the Future" - a round dance, which
was joined by all the new guests of the Exposition, stand attendants, tour
guides and volunteers.
"Our Exposition is
about the future, about the beautiful far away, about unification, about
Russia. And our flash mobs are designed to unite people. Professional
choreographers and dancers help us to arrange them. It is also important that
children join us," added Anastasia Zvyagina.
The event
is organized by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and
the Arctic, with support from Norilsk Nickel PJSC and the Rosatom State
Corporation.
"Aldan"
is a dramatic film based on true events.
The
National Centre RUSSIA operates from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 22:00.
