A unique IT-quiz created in Kirov was presented at the RUSSIA EXPO

The Kirov region presented the quiz "Going to IT. City of Skills" to the visitors to the RUSSIA EXPO.
The quiz "Going to IT. City of Skills" was created on the online platform SkillCity and conducted by Forotech Foundation as part of the social project "City of Skills. SkillCity" social project. It helps young people navigate in the world of digital professions, as well as imparts skills of digital safety and environmentally friendly use of digital services.
Participants of the quiz at the RUSSIA EXPO were offered to take an interactive quiz, upgrade their IT skills, and get acquainted with educational opportunities in the field of digitalization based on the examples of 40 universities and secondary educational institutions. Using a mobile application, anyone can install the "City of Skills" on their smartphone and visit the virtual offices of 16 companies, including Roscosmos, Movement of the First, LizaAlert, cellular operators and others. In the game form the user can build a strategy of their development from obtaining their first skills to work in a specialized company.
"This project is another proof that the Kirov region is interested in the development of new technologies, popularization of IT-specialties. We are doing a lot to become a serious and attractive educational platform for applicants. In the year of Kirov's 650th anniversary the project has reached a serious level: today it is already being implemented in more than 80 regions of the country," noted Alexander Sokolov, Governor of Kirov region.
