Steven Seagal visited the Amur region pavilion at the RUSSIA EXPO

Steven Seagal, an American actor, film producer, screenwriter, director, musician, and aikido master, visited the Amur region pavilion at the RUSSIA EXPO. During his tour of Pavilion No. 75, he couldn't pass by the Amur stand.

On June 2, the Moscow Martial Arts Festival took place at the "Sports Russia" area of the RUSSIA EXPO. The actor and aikido master Steven Seagal participated in the event. He also managed to visit the exposition stands of several regions, including the Amur region.

The Amur region's stand caught the guest's interest. He was informed about the region's main attractions: agricultural records, cooperation with China, the Baikal-Amur Mainline (BAM), the development of the gas chemical cluster and space exploration. Russia's first civilian spaceport, the Vostochny Cosmodrome, is located in the Amur region. Steven received a set of souvenirs with Amur symbols and space food as a memento.

Steven Seagal is a citizen of Russia. The decree was signed by the President of the Russian Federation on the eve of National Unity Day. On May 30, 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded Steven Seagal the Order of Friendship. Additionally, Seagal serves as a special representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Russian-American humanitarian relations and common cultural-historical heritage on a voluntary basis.
