A vivid Chukchi wedding ceremony and movies of the Golden Raven Film Festival were prepared for visitors of the International RUSSIA EXPO, where the Day of Chukotka is held on November 11.

The staged wedding ceremony became the key event. In addition, guests could participate in master classes on national sports of indigenous peoples and create Chukchi souvenirs with their own hands. And local performers prepared a concert program.

Throughout the day in the Khanzhonkov Cinema Hall in Pavilion No. 36 animated, short and feature films selected for the Golden Raven Arctic Film Festival are shown. It is held in Chukotka every year.

Visitors to the exposition are told how the region began to develop the Baimsky copper deposit, which is unique in its reserves. Chukotka representatives also share information on how to develop business in difficult climatic conditions. Governor Vladislav Kuznetsov talks in detail about the achievements of Russia's easternmost region.

It's worth reminding that the Chukchi wedding is not the first such event at the exposition. On November 10, the Day of the Amur region, a real celebration was organized for two employees of the Vostochny Cosmodrome. The newlyweds got married right in the pavilion.
