The Vologda region invites to visit Ded Moroz even in springtime
There is
always room for magic and unexpected surprises at the RUSSIA EXPO. So don't be
surprised if, for example, you meet Ded Moroz at the Vologda stand in April or
see blossoming gardens when it's barely warm outside the window. We tell you
what else the Vologda region will impress its guests with.
The
exposition of the region gives guests an opportunity to find themselves in a
fairy tale, to meet Ded Moroz, to take a photo on the throne and in the sleigh
of the winter wizard. But the region is famous not only as the residence of Ded
Moroz. There is also an amazingly beautiful national park "Russian
North", where you can walk along ecological trails and visit ancient
monasteries. And also, Darwin Reserve, where there are many white-tailed eagles
and predatory ospreys.
The Museum of Wooden Architecture, the Vologda Kremlin and the Spaso-Prilutsky Dmitriev Monastery, as well as the famous local lace museum will not leave anyone indifferent. You can learn more about the region's tourist potential at the stand. And thanks to modern technologies, it will be possible to visit some iconic places of the Vologda region without leaving the Exposition.
The Vologda stand is also a place to meet famous Vologda artists, cultural figures and artists. The Exposition guests will be offered masterclasses in traditional folk crafts and quizzes. And with the onset of spring the stand was decorated with floral compositions so that visitors could take bright and beautiful photos as a memento.
