The image of the father in Russian literature to be discussed at the National Centre RUSSIA
On 24 October at 19:00, the Literary Club "What to Read?!" will hold a meeting at the National Centre RUSSIA dedicated to the image of the father in the works of Russian writers of the 19th–20th centuries.
Which characters were the most vivid and controversial? What lessons and ideas can we draw from their portrayals? And why is the figure of the father so important for shaping the younger generation of Russians? These and other questions will be discussed by:
— Professor at HSE University, author of the Telegram channel "Chesnakov. Library", Alexei Chesnakov;
— Writer, public and military figure, Lieutenant Colonel Zakhar Prilepin.

From 14 to 19 October, the National Centre RUSSIA will host a thematic week dedicated to the Nenets Autonomous Area.
