An updated exposition of Russian industry opened in the "Made by Us" pavilion
On April
25, an expanded exposition in the Pavilion "Made by Us" of the
Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia at the RUSSIA EXPO was presented for
the first time: nine halls of the large-scale exposition were supplemented with
new exhibits. The event was attended by Alexei Gruzdev, Deputy Minister of
Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, and Natalia Virtuozova, Director
General of the ANO «Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements
"Russia"». The opening of the updated exposition was also attended by
well-known bloggers Alexander Usoltsev, Natalia Radulova, Sergei Dyagilev and
young authors Black2White (Anton and Sofiko), Sandy Cheeks and Anya Vinograd.
"Our
Exposition is undergoing major updates. And today the exposition of the
Ministry of Industry and Trade - one of the most popular from the first day -
shows us the future. I would like to say a word of thanks to our colleagues
from this agency for the quality of the pavilion. It sets a high bar for other
partners of the Exposition: all the ideas we have are realized at a very high
level," said Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the RUSSIA EXPO.
Alexei
Gruzdev spoke about the upgrades the pavilion has undergone: "Over the 5
months of the Exposition, 173 days to be exact, our pavilion was visited by
more than one million guests, we held about 100 thematic events. Domestic
industry does not stand still, and, of course, our industrial journey could not
but change during this time. We have updated the thematic halls, supplemented
them with new full-scale exhibits, interactive installations, up-to-date
information materials - 8 out of 10 halls have been updated and supplemented
with 22 new installations. We tried to make the process of immersion into the
world of industrial technologies even more exciting, informative and
unforgettable. Of course, all this would hardly have been possible without the
support of the RUSSIA EXPO Directorate. I would like to thank my colleagues for
their professionalism and support".
The tour
participants got acquainted with the key achievements of the Russian industry.
They touched the "Heart of Industry" and then went through the
"Corridor of History" to the "Timeline of Achievements"
hall, where an updated multimedia installation awaited them: an audio-visual
history of the production of Aurus cars, details of the first flight of the
SJ-100 and other bright events. Another new exhibit of the exposition is an
interactive catalog, which contains a rich history of Russian folk arts and crafts.
In
addition, the tour participants got acquainted with the new exhibits of the
"Engineering Center": system boards and printers of Russian
production, as well as an engineer's workplace and a virtual laboratory of
immersive technologies, where you can study aircraft jet engines with the help
of virtual reality glasses. Then the participants of the excursion tried
themselves in the role of a driver on the subway train simulator and got
acquainted with the installation about modern domestic agricultural machinery,
saw interactive models of modern ships, learned about new domestic aircraft
engines and looked at the Tu-214 model up close.
In the
"Industrial Laboratory" participants tested the new installation
"Light Industry", where you can learn how the light industry is
developing in Russia: what new types of textiles and technologies of their
production have emerged in recent years, what developments domestic enterprises
are still working on.
In the
"Hall of the Future", where a new block of interviews was added to
the final show, the tour participants heard children - students of engineering
clubs, schools, universities and other specialized educational institutions -
talk about how they see the future of the country's industry, about their own
hobbies and experience of creating various inventions, about relatives who
inspired them to acquire engineering skills.
After the
tour in the "Hall of the Future", the lecture-dialogue "Top 10
ideas for an engineering journey" began. The speaker was Andrei Tutushkin,
a leading guide of the creative bureau "Through the Eyes of an
Engineer" and a master of the "Guide School". He spoke about
unique sights in different parts of Russia, explained how to "read"
industrial architecture and engineering structures, introduced the biographies
of industrial architects. The features of all preserved Shukhov Towers,
Pushchino Science City, Obninsk NPP and many other landmark objects were
discussed at the lecture.
There was
also a masterclass "Technical Equipment" from MIREA - Russian
Technological University. There, guests learned how home appliances work (and
why they sometimes don't), how to find a hidden phone, and saw the equipment
used to search for people.
The integration of special military operation veterans into peaceful life and the interaction between regions and municipalities were discussed as part of the Forum "SMALL HOMELAND – THE STRENGTH OF RUSSIA".
The second All-Russian Municipal Forum "Small Homeland – the Strength of Russia" is taking place at the National Centre RUSSIA.
