The Vlad Malenko's Moscow Theater of
Poets presented a musical and poetic performance "In Russia, Spring Begins
in Crimea" dedicated to the reunification of Crimea with Russia. The
guests of the Exposition heard author's and classic civic lyrics poems and
songs dedicated to Russia, Crimea and the Crimean Spring, their history and
modern realities. Poet Alexander Antipov, poet, playwright Roman Sorokin,
musician Evgeny Blinov and actress Anna Chepenko took the stage of Pavilion 36
" Museum of Cinema".
"Exactly one month remains
before such a global historical and glorious date in the modern history of our
country - ten years since the reunification of Crimea and Sevastopol with
Russia. Our today's program is dedicated to this historic date. What is Crimea?
It is a connection of paths for people of different nationalities, different
religions, as well as for people of culture and art. Pushkin, Aivazovsky,
Chekhov - many people have been to Crimea and created there," Alexander
Antipov said in his welcoming speech to the guests of the Exposition.
The Vlad Malenko's Moscow Theater of Poets is a creative association, which is a structural subdivision of the Department of Culture of Moscow under the leadership of Merited Art Worker of Russia poet Vlad Malenko. The Moscow Theater of Poets team includes contemporary artists, musicians, poets and performers and organizes the country's largest all-Russian open festival of young poetry named after Leonid Filatov, "Filatov Fest".
