Spring light spectacle accompanied by live opera singing — a new show at the RUSSIA EXPO
Visitors to the RUSSIA EXPO could see a light show
accompanied by opera singing on March 8 in the ATOM pavilion at the Atomic
Harmony festival. Russian opera singer, winner of international competitions,
soloist of the State Mariinsky Theater Ivan Gyngazov performed Nessun Dorma -
Calaf's aria from Giacomo Puccini's "Turandot". The tenor's performance
took place against the backdrop of a light show with blossoming flowers, which
are a symbol of nature's awakening after winter.
"I would like to point out that Calaf's aria from the
opera "Turandot" is very much loved by people, very popular, and
always well received by the audience. Everyone has goosebumps running down
their spine and feels a genuine interest in the aria. I can say that all my
personal expectations of how it will be received by the audience were
justified," said Ivan Gyngazov.
The opera
singer's performance was the final event of the Atomic Harmony festival. During
the day everyone could take part in the campaign "To You, Beloved
Ones!", in the author's excursion "Atomic Women" and immersive
game "My Personal History", as well as become participants of the
light show "Waltz of Colors".
