The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin visited the International RUSSIA EXPO for the fourth time. The head of state spoke at the congress of the children's and youth organization Movement of the First. The President toured the pavilions and visited the stand of the Russian company VK. Children who create various projects on VKontakte's platforms were waiting for Vladimir Putin there. The President also examined the exposition of Sber. During the tour he was accompanied by the Director General of the ANO «Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"» Natalia Virtuozova.

The President addressed the congress participants and noted that the purpose of the exposition was to demonstrate the achievements and successes of Russia in various spheres over the past few years. After that, the head of state sang the anthem of the Russian Federation together with the congress participants.

"You have now met at VDNH, at the RUSSIA EXPO. Here we wanted to show what our country has done over the past few years. And we have a lot to be proud of. The things presented here were once someone's dream. I remember postcards from the Far East dating back to the beginning of the last century. There's a picture of a bridge that people dreamed of. They dreamed it would be there someday. That was at the very beginning of the last century. Today we have this bridge, we have built it, and another one that is even bigger than the one people dreamed of, and many more achievements that they could not even dream of in their time. I am sure that if you feel in the same purposeful, confident way, go purposefully to your goal, fulfill your dream, we will succeed even more," Vladimir Putin said.

"Russia's successes start with each of us. I am sure that after visiting the expositions, the guests feel proud of our country and feel a sense of involvement in its achievements," said Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the ANO «Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"».

Earlier, Vladimir Putin visited the RUSSIA EXPO, speaking during the opening ceremony of the Year of the Family within the framework of the All-Russian Family Forum Dear - Loved Ones.

Before that, the head of state had been to the exposition two more times - he made a speech at the United Russia party congress and also awarded the Volunteer of the Year prize. The President toured various pavilions and expositions. Among them were pavilions Atom, Made by Us, expositions of the Movement of the First, the presidential platform Russia – Land of Opportunity, regional stands and others. It should be reminded that Vladimir Putin also made a proposal to extend the duration of the RUSSIA EXPO.
