RUSSIA EXPO was visited by 15 million guests
On June 5,
the 15-millionth guest visited the International RUSSIA EXPO. It was Natalia
Korneeva from Yalta, who came to the Exposition with her husband Anton and
children - eight-year-old Yaroslav and five-year-old Varvara.
The
anniversary visitor was congratulated at the stand of North Ossetia-Alania and
given a certificate for a family trip to the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania,
where this year three significant dates are celebrated at once: the 100th
anniversary of the formation of the Republic, the 250th anniversary of
Ossetia's joining Russia and 240 years of the city of Vladikavkaz.
"We
came from Yalta, from Crimea, to see Moscow. This is our first time at the
Exposition - although we have seen very little so far, we are already very
impressed! We have always wanted to visit North Ossetia-Alania and therefore we
are very happy to receive such a gift," Natalia Korneeva shared her
emotions.
The family
was congratulated by Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the RUSSIA EXPO.
"Today
we have our first summer jubilee guest who will receive a gift from the RUSSIA
EXPO. Our 15-millionth visitor was Natalia Korneeva, who came to the Exposition
with her family from Yalta. I would like to thank the Republic of North
Ossetia-Alania, which gave our guests a trip to this incredibly beautiful
Republic for six days!" noted Natalia Virtuozova.
The program
of the trip includes a fascinating excursion through the historical center of
Vladikavkaz and a visit to the Evgeny Vakhtangov House-Museum, a masterclass on
national dances and cooking Ossetian pies, a trip to the Genaldon Gorge
(Karmadon), the same where the Kolka glacier descended and a memorial plaque to
the film crew of Sergei Bodrov was installed.
The family
will also travel to the Tagaur and Kurtata gorges, the architectural and
ethnographic complex "Dargava Necropolis", visit the ancient
watchtower of Kurta and Taga, the ruins of the ancient city of Tsmiti and the
Alanian monastery - the highest in Russia, as well as the Kadargavan canyon and
the Tsei gorge, the small Ossetian village of Nar, the Zaramagh water
reservoir, the house-museum of K. L. Khetagurov, thermal springs
"Biragzang" and many other iconic places of the Republic.

Republic," said Tamerlan Dzasokhov, First Deputy Plenipotentiary
Representative of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania to the President of the
Russian Federation.
On May 24,
the 14-millionth guest visited the International RUSSIA EXPO. It was
eight-year-old Kirill Starov from the Kamchatka region, who came to the
Exposition with his parents - Dmitry and Larisa. The RUSSIA EXPO and SIBUR's
House of Polymers presented Kirill with a certificate for a family trip to
Tobolsk, the tourist and industrial capital of Siberia.
The
thirteen millionth visitor was welcomed at the Exposition on May 16. It was
Tatyana Yasyukovich. She came to the Exposition with her family: her daughter
Anastasia Yasyukovich and grandchildren - sixteen-year-old Vladislav and
three-year-old Sasha. The family received a certificate for a trip to the Kirov
region.
On April 6,
the ten millionth guest visited the Exposition: he was Konstantin Panfilov from
Yaroslavl, who came to the capital with his wife Ekaterina. From the RUSSIA
EXPO and Rosatom State Corporation, the couple received a certificate for a
trip to Murmansk with a visit to the world's first nuclear-powered vessel - the
nuclear icebreaker "Lenin" and one of the universal nuclear
icebreakers of FSUE Atomflot .
The
Exposition crossed the threshold of five million guests on February 22. Alexei
Maximov with his wife and two children came to VDNH. The family from the city
of Volzhsky, Volgograd region, received a trip along the Energy of Ladoga route
from the RUSSIA EXPO Directorate, the Leningrad Region Administration and the
Igora Tour travel company. Thanks to the gift, the family saw the main symbols
of the Volga region and got acquainted with the history of small towns of our
country.
The
International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country
gathered in one place. During the whole period of the Exposition, guests are
welcomed with cultural events, a rich business and educational program. The
expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal departments, corporations
and public organizations are presented to the visitors. The International
RUSSIA EXPO takes place at VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
