Record your own "Let's go", visit a spaceship and explore the galaxy: space attractions at the RUSSIA EXPO
On April
12, our country celebrates Cosmonautics Day, marking the first human flight
into space. The Exposition guests will enjoy a large-scale celebration, as well
as thematic expositions. Let us tell you what space attractions are available
in Pavilion No. 75 not only on April 12, but every day.
OMSK REGION
The
exposition of the region is called "Omsk - You're Just Space" for a
reason. Here you can not only see a model of the Angara-A5 rocket, but also
climb aboard to go on a real space flight.
And also,
especially for the Omsk stand the famous micro-miniaturist Anatoly Konenko
created a micro-model of the Angara carrier rocket. The microscopic copy of the
rocket is made of mammoth tusk and fits into the eye of a needle.
KARACHAY-CHERKESS
REPUBLIC
KCR is
called the astrophysical capital of Russia, because it is here that the largest
scientific facilities for the study of space are located. Among them is the
largest observatory in the country - SAO RAS. Its model is presented at the
stand, and inside, thanks to VR-technologies, a real galactic journey awaits
the guests. Brave researchers will have to sit at the helm of a starship to fly
around the planets of the solar system.
BASHKORTOSTAN
You can
take space photos at the exposition of Bashkortostan. This is a unique object -
the only stand assembled from parts printed on a 3D printer. It is impossible
to overlook the spectacular futuristic spaceship. Especially when attendants in
spectacular spacesuits are standing near it - it feels like you are on the set
of a science fiction movie. By the way, there is a command cabin and capsules
for virtual excursions inside the starship.
KALUGA
REGION
This is the
region where Russian cosmonautics was born. That is why guests of the stand are
greeted by a photo zone with a cosmonaut. And here you can also learn about the
unique "Tsiolkovsky" festival, which unites feature, documentary and
animated films dedicated to space. And of course, plan a space trip to Kaluga,
to the local museum of cosmonautics.
TULA REGION
There is an original attraction at the stand of the Tula region. Here everyone can feel like the first person going into space. In a special booth you can quote Yuri Gagarin and say his famous "Let's go!", the rest will be handled by technology. As a result, you will get a spectacular video that can be downloaded via QR code.
During the all-Russian survey "What does the Motherland begin with?", people across the country are answering this question in their own way, opening up the innermost corners of their souls.
Souvenir nevalyashkas (traditional Russian roly-poly dolls), are attracting particular attention, with guests choosing them for their harmonious combination of Russian colour and traditional Chinese symbols.
Under the guidance of artisans, each guest made an unusual souvenir that can become either a personal talisman or a gift with a special story.
