Winter patterns: how the mitten decoration workshop went at the National Centre RUSSIA
On January 4, the National Centre RUSSIA hosted a mitten decoration workshop that became a real triumph of creativity. Participants gathered in the foyer of pavilion No. 7, where they had the opportunity to decorate unique accessories with their own hands, learn new techniques, and simply enjoy their time.
"It was so much fun, and the time flew by! Now I know how to make beautiful patterns on mittens. I’ll definitely decorate more at home," shared 10-year-old Lena from Moscow, one of the workshop attendees.
Under the guidance of skilled craftsmen, guests selected materials, mastered various decorating techniques, and developed their own designs. Each participant left with updated mittens — a bright and practical result of their efforts, which will not only keep them warm in winter but also highlight their individuality.
"I made a gift for my grandmother. The mittens turned out very beautiful, and I learned how to work with beads. It takes time and focus to decorate mittens like this, but it’s worth it," said 12-year-old Sasha.
The National Centre RUSSIA provided all necessary materials for the participants, creating a cozy atmosphere for creativity and communication. The workshop attracted great interest from both adults and children, turning a winter day into a vibrant and memorable event.
