Towers of the Two Rivals. Republic of Ingushetia
The architectural heritage of the region includes the Towers of the Two Rivals, located near the sea-buckthorn grove at the spur of the Rocky Ridge. According to legend, the castle was built by two women who were the wives of the same man. Contrary to the common belief that co-wives must conflict, they lived very harmoniously. When their husband died in battle, his relatives drove them out of their village. Each of the wives had one son, and they decided to build two defensive towers on an impregnable cliff. These towers still stand today, like formidable ancient guardians, protecting the peace of the valley.
Against the backdrop of these majestic ancestral towers, symbolizing
resilience and heritage, plants bloom in the floral harmony of the national
flag—red, white, and green. Every element of the stand, every color, every line
reflects the soul and history of the people, preserving age-old traditions,
welcoming guests, and transporting them to a world of colors and cultural
revelations.
You will feel the grandeur and allure of this wise land where the mysteries
of the past intertwine with the dreams of the future.
