Harmony of the North. Nenets Autonomous Area
The future of the region is becoming brighter and richer
thanks to natural resources. The region is developing, oil production is
growing, and large investment projects are planned for implementation.
Alongside this, the region pays great attention to environmental preservation.
Our task is to achieve a balance between ecology and the economy, which will
allow us to preserve natural heritage while developing industry.
The central part of the flowerbed-exposition is twisted into
a spiral, symbolizing continuous development. The spiral represents the
whirlwind of life that relentlessly continues despite harsh Arctic conditions.
In the center of the flowerbed, red flowers symbolize the capital of the Area.
Next are white flowers, representing the snow-white winter that lasts more than
seven months. Blue flowers signify the main watercourse of the Pechora River,
which is of great economic importance to the region.
The colors of the tundra unfold like a picture of nature,
where each color is like a note in the symphony of the polar summer. Lichens
and mosses, like delicate blankets, symbolize the resilience of nature. The
region’s subsoil is rich in minerals, and active extraction is ongoing here.
Oil rigs with vertical greenery represent the balance between oil extraction
and ecology. The future of the region will become increasingly brighter and
richer thanks to its natural resources.
Along with the RUSSIA EXPO, the flower festival is also coming to an end.
The "Future in Flowers" festival continues at the RUSSIA EXPO, where unique flowerbeds from all regions of our country can be seen at the "Space" pavilion until July 8.
The RUSSIA EXPO concludes on July 8, and with it, the flower festival will also come to an end.
