Unknown Chukotka. Chukotka Autonomous Area
Chukotka
residents know how to live in harmony with nature, not disturbing the fragile
balance, and maintaining an inextricable connection between man and the world
surrounding him. The idea of the flower exposition is to present northern
flowers, lichens and other Arctic plants in their natural habitat. Stones and
pebbles in the flower garden design emphasize the uniqueness of the northern
landscape and its harsh charm.
In the
display, the Northern Sea Route symbolizes the transformation of the Arctic from
a cold wilderness into an economically developed region, where the most
important maritime shipping routes lie. This is reflected by an icebreaker
carving a path through the ice, and thus opening up new opportunities for trade
and transportation.
The central
element is an Eskimo ball. The indigenous peoples of Chukotka traditionally
perceive it as the sun. This element emphasizes a connection between the past
and the present. It also reminds us of the role of the nuclear industry in
ensuring the technological sovereignty of the country and the development of
technologies for Chukotka.
Along with the RUSSIA EXPO, the flower festival is also coming to an end.
The "Future in Flowers" festival continues at the RUSSIA EXPO, where unique flowerbeds from all regions of our country can be seen at the "Space" pavilion until July 8.
The RUSSIA EXPO concludes on July 8, and with it, the flower festival will also come to an end.
