Everything begins with a man and his dream. Chelyabinsk region
The main idea of the flowerbed is to reflect the beauty and diversity of the nature of the Chelyabinsk region and to showcase the transformation of urban areas. The inspiration for the exposition was the modern embankment of the Miass River and its main attraction — the Ferris wheel, which offers everyone a bird’s-eye view of the capital all year round. Chelyabinsk appears as a modern city with numerous public spaces, green areas, and architectural ensembles. As it develops and improves, the city carefully preserves its cultural heritage.
In the
Chelyabinsk region, the borders between Europe and Asia, the Urals and Siberia
intersect: such a location has endowed the region’s land with an amazing and
diverse flora. The richness of the plant world in the Chelyabinsk region has
formed due to its simultaneous location in three natural zones: mountain ranges
belong to the mountain-forest zone, the plain to the forest-steppe zone, and
the lowland to the steppe zone.
Each of
these zones has found its place in the flowerbed. Almost a quarter of the
region is covered by a "green ocean," and therefore the Chelyabinsk
region's exposition is richly decorated with the most common tree species in
the Southern Urals — birches and pines. The flowerbed also features plant species
traditional to the region: Cossack juniper (Savin Juniper), pelargonium,
chlorophytum, and ivy.
Along with the RUSSIA EXPO, the flower festival is also coming to an end.
The "Future in Flowers" festival continues at the RUSSIA EXPO, where unique flowerbeds from all regions of our country can be seen at the "Space" pavilion until July 8.
The RUSSIA EXPO concludes on July 8, and with it, the flower festival will also come to an end.
