Nikolai Igushev and Irina Zasovkina, residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region, got married at the International RUSSIA EXPO.

They performed an ancient Russian rite of Nizhny Novgorod province accompanied by the songs of the folklore and ethnographic ensemble «Blue Flax». Curiously, these compositions were recorded in ethnographic expeditions to the villages of the region in the 70-90s of the XX century.

Inseparable dolls from Nizhny Novgorod craftswomen became an amulet for the newlyweds.

«I wish your young family many years of happiness and love. Be the pride of your region!» — congratulated the newlyweds Head of the Department of International Cooperation, Culture and Education of the ANO «Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements „Russia“» Olesya Malevannaya.

In total, more than 40 weddings will be held at the International RUSSIA EXPO. Previously, employees of the Vostochny Cosmodrome, natives of the Republic of Tuva, Buryatia, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area and other regions have married here.
