Immersion in the holiday ambiance: workshops before "The Nutcracker"
On January 4 and 5 (Saturday and Sunday), the National Centre RUSSIA will host captivating workshops before the performance of "The Nutcracker," adding to the festive atmosphere.
From 11:00 to 13:00, four workshops will be organized in the foyer of Pavilion No. 3:
1. "Decorating a Transparent New Year Bauble" – participants will create a unique transparent ornament ball using New Year decorations, rhinestones, ribbons, and lace.
2. "Decorating an Opaque New Year Bauble" – a workshop on decorating colorful New Year ball ornaments with beads, rhinestones, and ribbons.
3. "DIY New Year Garland" – participants will learn to assemble a garland using light elements, ribbons, and holiday decorations.
4. "Create a Robot" – an engaging workshop where participants will make a robot from buttons, wire, and a vibrating motor.
As a reminder, the National Centre RUSSIA is hosting the premiere of a new version of the ballet "The Nutcracker," performed by artists of the Bolshoi Theatre. In just two days, nearly five thousand attended the performance.
During the all-Russian survey "What does the Motherland begin with?", people across the country are answering this question in their own way, opening up the innermost corners of their souls.
Souvenir nevalyashkas (traditional Russian roly-poly dolls), are attracting particular attention, with guests choosing them for their harmonious combination of Russian colour and traditional Chinese symbols.
Under the guidance of artisans, each guest made an unusual souvenir that can become either a personal talisman or a gift with a special story.
