Events digest: weekly highlights at the National Centre RUSSIA
The Seventh
Eurasian Aerospace Congress, the discussion "From Brush to Code: How
Technology Changes the Perception of Art," the workshop "Textile
Jewellery," and the strategic session of VARMSU "Transport and
Infrastructure" — all in our weekly digest.
On July 24,
the space of the National Centre RUSSIA hosted the Seventh Eurasian Aerospace Congress — the central industry business event of 2025.
The event
brought together representatives of executive and legislative authorities, as
well as members of the industrial, scientific, educational, and expert
communities from Russia and 20 countries both near and far abroad.
The
congress was held with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the
Russian Federation and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian
Federation. Its traditional organisers were the Eurasian Partnership of
Aerospace Clusters and Soyuzinform.
The key
messages of the congress focused on the implementation of the national project
"Development of Space Activities in the Russian Federation until 2030 and
for the Long Term up to 2036" and the Comprehensive Programme for the
Development of the Aviation Industry in Russia until 2030. Other major topics
included the formation of a long-term development strategy, the launch of multi-year
projects to establish a scientific and technical foundation, and the
strengthening of human resources.
On July 24,
the National Centre RUSSIA also hosted an event by the educational project
"Development" — an open discussion titled "From Brush to Code: How Technology Changes the Perception of Art."
The meeting
brought together leading experts from the museum industry and art enthusiasts
to discuss the digital transformation of the cultural space. During the
discussion, the speakers and the audience explored the interaction between
technology and the world of art, and reflected on how augmented and virtual
realities are transforming traditional expositions. The question "Can
technology replace the human in art?" became one of the central topics of
the agenda.
Experts paid particular attention to the prospects for museum development in the digital age. Visitors to the National Centre RUSSIA learned how technology is shaping the interaction between audiences and works of art today, and how a high level of interactivity influences the perception of artistic intent.
On July 24, the National Centre RUSSIA hosted the workshop "Textile Jewellery" as part of the patchwork quilting exposition "Soul of Russia." Both adults and children took part, immersing themselves in the world of folk art and learning how to turn ordinary fabric scraps into elegant accessories.
Under the
guidance of an experienced instructor, guests learned to combine colours, work
with textures, and create their own design solutions while preserving
traditional techniques.
The
patchwork quilting exposition "Soul of Russia" at the National Centre
RUSSIA concluded its run last week. It was part of the large-scale
international festival of the same name.
The
exposition featured works created using centuries-old techniques. The project
brought together some of the most talented artisans from cities including Ufa,
Arkhangelsk, Voronezh, Tula, Moscow, Perm, Ivanovo, Saint Petersburg, Tyumen,
Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Lipetsk, Cheboksary, Bryansk, Voronezh, and many others.
On July 25, as part of the project
"Municipal Dialogue," organised by the All-Russian Association for
the Development of Local Self-Government (VARMSU) together with the
Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, the National Centre
RUSSIA hosted the strategic session "Transport and Infrastructure."
The event
was attended by representatives of federal executive authorities, relevant
experts, and heads of municipalities. During the session, participants
discussed key issues in the development of the transport system and
infrastructure: prospects for road construction, road maintenance, the
development of river transport, regional aviation, as well as personnel
solutions and ways to improve labour productivity in the sector.
